Houston spine practice helps patients with neck and back pain to find relief through minimally-invasive and non-invasive procedures; joins national network

ATLANTA, GA – December 1, 2015 – Back Pain Centers of America (BPC), which connects people searching for solutions to their neck and back pain to find a reputable physician in their area, announces that Advanced Spine Institute in Houston, Texas is the newest member of the Back Pain Centers’ network.

“We are excited to become a part of the Back Pain Centers of America network,” says Robert Talac, M.D. Ph.D. and Chief of Surgery at Advanced Spine Institute (ASI). “This will help more people to learn about our minimally-invasive and laser spine treatments and to find us. Dr. Talac, formerly of the Mayo Clinic, completed training in orthopedic surgery at University of California, San Diego, CA and fellowship training in spine surgery at Center for Spine Health, Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. He has been practicing in the United States since 1999. Prior to that he was in his home country of The Czech Republic and attended Medical School of Masaryk University in Brno. He completed general surgery training as well as fellowship training in surgical oncology in Europe. Dr. Talac earned a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. In addition, he has a diploma in minimally-invasive surgery from University of Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France.
